Operating under Bermuda's Ministry of Public Works, the Department of Works and Engineering is made up of 7 sections: structures, highways, electrical and mechanical, water and sewage, tynes bay waste to energy centre and solid waste.

We provide important services to the public of Bermuda, including the maintenance of Government infrastructure, garbage collection and disposal, road repairs and maintenance and safe water extraction, treatment and distribution. Our services also include planning, designing, constructing, installig and maintenaning the electrical and mechanical systems associated with the Government. We also manage the Government vehicle fleet and equipment leasing, mechanical maintenance and quarry operations.
